question about dvd audio ( high resolution)
With all of the excitement lately about the archives coming out I'm wondering what stereo equipment one will actually need to listen to the high resolution audio. A friend told me that if I just have a normal analog stereo and analog speakers, then when I play the DVD audio I will only hear it at cd quality(44khz). So in order for me to hear it in the higher sampling rate, I will need to buy a digital stereo amp with digital speakers. Is this true? Of course I will still get the box set in with the DVDs because of all the exciting videos, songs, and pictures etc.
